The Center for Strategic Development adopts an integrated portfolio of research programs.

These programs have gone through three well-defined stages involving both internal and external exercises. The first stage featured internal brainstorming and benchmarking of leading counter think tanks; thus, leading to a long-term list of suggested research topics.

On the second stage, the government agencies were engaged via workshops and interviews to identify their research needs, while the third stage involved collecting, assessing, identifying and reviewing the different research themes.
