During its session held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on 21/10/1440 A.H., the Cabinet approved the amendment of Mandate of “The Center for Strategic Development” (CSD).

During its session held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on 21/10/1440 A.H., the Cabinet approved the amendment of Mandate of CSD, Issued by virtue of the Cabinet Decree No. (364) dated 01/09/1437 A.H. This amendment enables the Center to complete its assigned tasks effectively, key amendments include the following:

  • The Board of Directors shall form an international consulting board, responsible for providing strategic, technical and research advice in all areas relevant to support the Center’s research and consulting functions and activities.

 

  • The Center shall have a Board of Directors headed by the Minister of Economy and Planning and shall consist of the following members:

 

a. The Minister of Finance.

b. The Minister of Civil Service.

c. The Minister of Education.

d. The Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources.

e. Two Subject Matter Experts.

And the President of the Center shall be the Secretary-General of the Board.
